Required Documents for Canada Tourist Visa 

  • Be in good health
  • No Criminal or immigration related convictions.
  • Must have strong ties, such as job, home, financial assets, family, that will prove to take you back to your home country.
  • A Valid Passport (Min 06 months).
  • A Valid CNIC (National Identity Card).  
  • Pictures White Background Canada Visa Standards size (70mmx50mm)
  • Bank Statement confirming that you can support your return trip.
  • Evidence of your purpose of the visit.
  • Evidence that you will leave the Canada at the end of your proposed visit.
  • Hotel Booking or place of stay. Complete address, Tel no, Postal Code and Email.
  • Flight Reservation.
  • Details of immediate relatives if any living in the Canada (Status).
  • Invitation letter (if visiting family or friends).
  • Parents details Passport/CNIC.
  • Spouse Details Passport/CNIC.
  • Details of Name if used different in past.
  • Contact Details Address, Cell no/Tel no.
  • Employment Letter.
  • Salary Slip current month.
  • Tax Return.
  • Last 10 years of Travel History if any, Date/month/year.
  • Criminal Record Certificate.
  • With family, Marriage Certificate.
  • Birth Certificates of Children.
  • Family Registration Certificate.
  • Cover Letter.
  • Biometric at VFS upon submitting an application.

Bank Statement:

  • There is no set amount of monetary funds required for a Canada Visit Visa as it depends on circumstance the purpose and number of days of visit.
  • Bank statement showing the sufficient amount to manage your cost of trip during your stay in Canada.
  • Bank Statement for Last 6 months with the sufficient balance and income tax returns for last 3 years.
  • You Must have about 100-150 CAD per day per person.
  • Available funds must be more than twice the total of Canada trip expenses. 
  • Savings must be growing continuously with no large deposits, if large cash deposits you must provide reason, evidence and tax information. (Extremely Important)
  • Make sure your monthly salary is directly deposited into your bank account. This provides that you have consistent monthly income.
  • If you are paid in cash or cheque, deposit the cash or cheque in your bank on a specific date every month and withdraw according to your expenses or prefer to use online payment methods. This will show the consistent salary deposit, expenses and savings.
  • If you save too little per month, that would be an indicator that a Canada trip is not realistic for your financial situation.
  • Your monthly savings/disposable income must be a good percentage of your net monthly income.

If you do not have sufficient funds?

  • Delay your trip until you have enough savings, if your plan to visit next year start saving from now and you would have enough savings up to then.

 Or

  • Shorten your trip to manage within the available funds, if your plan is for 15 days, shorten it to 10 days or 07 days and try to make your itinerary accordingly.

Or

  • Use a sponsor to cover some of your expenses i.e residence and food expenses, sponsorship from family members and immediate relatives can work well.
  • Sponsorship from distance relatives, friends, people met on internet etc will not work well.
